zoot 5 Zoot Woman Things Are What They Used To Be (Remixes)

Unsurprisingly Zoot Woman really have an ear for remixes! You may remember I shared the Dyebox remix of Live in Head with you a few weeks ago.  Now the guys have just sent us some new mixes of tracks from the awesome Thing Are What They Used To Be which is racing up the the RPM charts here in the U.S. We will be sharing these with College Radio DJ’s next week. In the meantime you can preview them right here!  I’m really feeling the Chris Fraser remix of Just A Friend Of Mine and the PDA remix of We Won’t Break. Which ones are you into?

the asteroids galaxy tour fruit small giants The Asteroids Galaxy Tour Fruit

The Asteroids Galaxy Tour are one of my favorite new bands the first caught my eye, well ear I suppose, after hearing their song Around The Bend on the Ipod commercials, but I didn’t hold that against them! I really enjoy their debut album Fruit which shipped to college last week. My favorite track from the release is probably Sun Ain’t Shining No More and I really enjoy the video which they describe as “a retro homage to the sunshine bleached days of carefree youth.” It makes me think of summer days which now seem a distant memory as we’re right in the middle of Fall in NYC. I’m super excited to be interviewing them in the near future! If you have any questions for the band leave ‘em in the comments!

He sung classics like  Millennium, Come Undone and Angels, and also some material from his new album Reality Killed the Radio Star which hits stores on November 6th. He gave an amazing performance of Bodies, which PRO MOTION will be promoting to DJs  in the U.S. The release will include remixes by Aeroplane, Trevor Horn, Cahill and many more!
