The latest LIFT project hitting your mailboxes soon is autoKratz! They are a London based duo who I think are one of the most exciting electronic acts to emerge in recent memory. They have have been creating a massive buzz over the last few years and they are drawing comparisons to Depeche Mode, Underworld and The Prodigy. Personally I hear a little Fischerspooner and Daft Punk (enough comparisons for ya?!) Their critically acclaimed first full length release Animal came out in Europe on Kitsune last Fall. Now the time is right for the band to conquer the U.S. and to start things off Animal has just been released here. The band will be heading out on tour here this Spring and you do not want to miss them!

This must be something like the third video The Temper Trap have filmed for the epic track Sweet Disposition. I loved the first one also but this one’s great cause you get to see a bit more of the lovely Aussie lads. The piece was directed by Daniel Eskils (Caribou, Boys Noize), and was shot in the band’s hometown of Melbourne, Australia. The band is currently on a North American tour in support of their debut album Conditions. Earlier this week I got the chance to speak with Lornenzo from the band so watch this space for the interview!

Moments after watching the video premiere of Gossip‘s Pop Goes The World I got word that we would be involved in promoting the single – exciting stuff! Gossip take it back to the 80′s in this slick video. I can’t decide what I’m more obsessed with Beth’s hair or those skulls she’s wearing on her shoulders! Gossip will be playing again here ins New York on April 30th and I’m beyond ready to see them again!
