The Pet Shop Boys have had quiet a remarkable year with a hugely successful album and tour! We are very excited to be speaking with the Pet Shop Boys again as the year comes to a close for a follow up interview (hopefully you caught our interview with Chris Lowe earlier in the year… It was a great one!) I know there are plenty of Pet Shop Boys fans out there, so this time we figured we’d ask you what questions YOU would ask the guys? I really would like to ask the if they sometimes listen to fan mixes and covers of their songs. and what they think about those productions. When they came to Milan for a TV show this year I had the opportunity to give Chris some music made by me. I wonder if he has ever listened to that! Knowing Chris he hasn't :->>>

I've been a fan club member for at least 15 years, and I appreciate the high quality of the Literally magazine and mailings members of the club receive. Now that “It often doesn't snow at Christmas” has been released on a Starbucks compilation and on the Christmas EP, would you consider recording another unique single for members of the club?

Neil – this one is for you… would love to know what inspired you to add the the extra lyrics “If any can, the Action Man can” on the track 'I Don't Know What You Want But I Can't Give It Any More' (Morales Classical Reprise) at 3:47 – 4:02. To PSB: If you need any help in compiling this 'Chill out' / 'Unplugged' album, I've made my own personal non-stop chill-out mix cd [for non-profit] with all your mellow music available, and I'm now on vol. 3. When We Have the Discovery Tour in DvD???

I want to know if you are ticklelish and Chris, do you keep all the caps and sunglasses you worn in your public life and if so, how many do you have ? That would make a great exposition btw. Erasure sucks. That said, have you ever considered an experimental or ambient concept album in the vein of 1995’s “Erasure?” I’m thinking “Samurai in Autumn” meets “The Former Enfant…” meets Potemkin. Something to chill to. Get high to. Even make out to. It would be great.

I was at the concert in Belo Horizonte, Brazil a few weeks ago and I just wanted to say that my (Brazilian) wife and I loved it. I was wondering why you didn't play “We're all criminals now” at that concert because it would have been so appropriate. I did shout a request for “I want a dog” a couple of times but lots of Brazilians began to move away from me so I thought I had better stop…great concert though…thanks very much!
Have you ever thought of working with Björk? I've always thought that those “weird” rythms and her voice convined with psb would produce something amazing.
The Fundamental tour, which I enjoyed a lot, landed twice in Barcelona, in 06 and in 07. Is there any chance that the Pandemonium tour will be coming here again? That would be amazing!
